Stroller Fitness Frenzy

 We’ve had our little bundle of joy. We enjoyed staying in our jammies all day, but it’s time to get back in the game now. Time to see the sun and talk to other people. So, where are we going?

Kim Magotiaux of Bellies, Babies and Beyond runs exercise classes where we plunk junior in the stroller and get moving. She offers a standard Stroller Fit class ($99/six classes) and also a Stroller Boot Camp ($198/12 classes). Participating moms are four weeks to 24 months postpartum.

We not only benefit from strength training, cardio and improved body image but we also get to socialize during class. We chat about everything from poop to who has the best sales on baby gear. (Oh and we groan to each other about our post-baby bodies too.)

Of course, the benefit isn’t just for us moms. Our babies get to play and it’s great for us to see them grow and change in a social situation. Now if we could just get the “we shrink, they grow” ratio down to a science. (We’d be skinny and rich!)
