Is it just us or are Dora and her male counterpart Diego getting our wee ones muy entusiasmado about Spanish?
Faster than our tot can say “Swiper, no swiping”, we’re signing her up for Spanish language classes from Sueños y Crayolas. Translated as “Dreams and Crayons,” this licensed day home was Sandra Baute’s dream come true. And it’s not just for Spanish-heritage youngsters to preserve their mother tongue; any mind-is-a-sponge child will love the immersive environment ($700/month) that skips the ho-hum repeat-after-me drills in favour of game-playing to make learning fun and spontaneous.
Now back to watching Diego for the millionth time…
