A sleeve: noun. Where our tot likes to wipe his nose in lieu of a tissue.
A secret: noun. Something we told our child in private that is suddenly broadcast to their fifth grade teacher.
Much to our relief, Adeodata Czink (a.k.a. the Empress of Etiquette) will be heading to the Fairmont Royal York to show our progeny how to mind their Ps and Qs. It all starts this Saturday at 2:30 when children 7-12 years of age (runny noses and all) get to discover the ins and outs of proper behaviour at the Kidetiquette classes ($75). Over the course of a Royal Tea Service, our wee ones get to learn everything from introductions ("Mommy, is this the lawyer who is fleecing you?") to dining ("See food. Get it?"). And since Adeodata knows that teens aren't exempt from good behaviour (think of the rolling eyes and stunned silences), she is also offering a Teen Etiquette course on Jan. 4th ($75).
Now if only we can find a class for our open-mouth eating partner.
