Sure, we love Raffi. But we have to admit, we'd rather be boogying to Kool and the Gang in our polyester shirts than listening to the Wiggles in our pajamas.
Fortunately, Rhizome Café is helping us out with introducing the classics (free of charge, donations welcome). They provide the venue and the tunes. We bring the baby and the wide lapels. Although our moves have gotten a little rusty since the arrival of our little boogie woogie dance machine, we can still bust a move on the floor with the rest of the rug rats.
We love the juice and other grown up cocktails, not to mention the menu picks like edamame and quesadillas. (We need as much energy as we can get for all that line dancing.)
After an afternoon at the baby disco our ears were ringing, our throats were hoarse and we'd gotten hooked - again - on Ra Ra Rasputin. And baby's favourite tune? ABC 123, of course.
