Crafty isn’t just the creative way we sneak veggies into our little one’s dinner – it can involve paper and glitter too. But we don’t have to worry if the only pompoms in our house are the ones dangling from our après ski sweater.
We’re clearing out the craft-cupboard (or at least making some room next to the junk drawer) because the Craft Caravan has just pulled up and they’re here to deliver some creative fun with all the fixings. Created by local mom, Keri Zingle, this pizza delivery of craftiness takes the scrambling out of fun art project ideas and supplies.
Just like a monthly magazine subscription ($10.99 a child, then $9.99 a month), Craft Caravan arrives at our door ready to be opened by our little budding Martha Stewart. Inside each green envelope is a craft or two that is kid tested and approved. This month’s activity has us making a rainbow tambourine just in time for St. Patrick’s day.
And with green beans on the menu for dinner, we can save our creative juices for dinner.
