No, it's Fun Raiser. Started by Eduardo Fritis, this local playgroup endeavors to get kids out of the house and into the fresh air (even with our rainy winter weather). With hoods over our heads and smiles on our faces, we felt just as excited as the little ones as they found each item in the scavenger hunt. And their impromptu sidewalk gallery of chalk drawings beat any visit to a dry museum.
Fun Raiser grows by word of mouth. So just like our rave days, we wait for the word and the secret location. But instead of bringing whistles and glow sticks, we're bringing our kids, some balls, some chalk and our sketchy memories of childhood games.
