Seussical The Musical at Young People’s Theatre

We admit it, we love Dr. Seuss, and we never complain when his books are pulled out at story-time.

Seussical (at Young People’s Theatre, tickets $10 - $20) is a musical based on those much-loved Dr. Seuss books. The story follows Horton, the big-hearted, faithful elephant (among other characters), as he comes up with his infamous statement: that a person’s a person, no matter how small.

Excellent for teaching kids about responsibility, perseverance, kindness and respect, this show is a fun way to bring these topics up in conversation. It is also the perfect way to introduce our wee drama queens and kings to the theatre.

And we have to admit; we love seeing our favourite books brought to life (and are certain our wee ones will too).
