Baby its cold outside!  But don't hibernate this winter; let’s embrace the cold Canadian weather, eh?  Celebrate winter in the city with these five fabulous kid-friendly attractions that you shouldn’t miss in Toronto this winter.

Downsview Park's WinterFest
Bundle the kids up for some family fun at Downsview Park's WinterFest.  There is an ice slide, ice sculpting demonstrations, an ice brick play area for kids, snow clowns and magicians, and other performers.  Be sure to stop by the Disney on Ice booth!

Bloor-Yorkville IceFest
The annual Bloor-Yorkville IceFest is back for its seventh year with ice sculpture displays, events and more, all in the theme of Winter Wilderness.  Artists will showcase ice sculpture displays including “Winter Wilderness” ice display, crafted from an astounding 25,000 lbs. of ice. There will be ice carving demonstrations, on-street performers and skating performances by “Glisse on Ice”.

Skate the Natrel Rink
Skate seven days a week on the city's winter gem by the lake at The Natrel Rink.  Hot food and drinks are available at the rink side restaurant, and there are indoor change rooms with lockers.  Skating lessons are also offered for all ages.

Montgomery's Inn Farmer Market                                         
Eat local all winter long!  The Montgomery’s Inn Farmers market is now indoors this winter.  Buy direct from the farmer in a historical setting every Wednesday, including fresh bread from the Inn’s wood-fired oven, meat, cheese, winter/greenhouse vegetables, fruit, cider, tofu, jam, baked goods and more.
