The library is one of our favourite destinations (aside from constantly shushing our boisterous kids), and now there’s even more reason to love the place.
The Ottawa Public Library is launching a pilot program that will see them hosting kids’ birthday parties at three branches (Orléans, Greenboro, Ruth E. Dickinson) across the city.
Designed for ages four to eight, three ready-made themes are Everything Princess, Under the Sea, Fun with Furry Friends and Digging for Dinos. Each party ($20/child or $175 minimum) includes one hour of story-based programming lead by a library employee, use of a party room for another full hour of your own activities, and a craft for each child.
And there’s no shushing the birthday kid.
