Our best friend has let us in on a little secret: The key to back-to-school happiness is staying home.

As a proud homeschooling mom, our gal pal has turned to Lady Bug Homeschool Supplies for all of her scholastic needs. But guess what? So can we – even though our brood is hitting the books at public institutions.

Thank goodness we’ve taken her advice. The merchandise is made for any parent who wants to give their children a head start at achieving that full scholarship (Harvard, here we come). Our early reader adores Lady Bug’s selection of Radius Digital Learning Systems ($324.95 for the audio system, CD card sets covering everything from rhyming words to the Solar System starting at $54.95). The biggest winner, though, are the new Evan Moor Learning Centres ($30-35), which blow traditional textbooks out of the water. Even subjects like science and math are made interesting with its pocket folder format and step by step activities.

If we want to see the products, Lady Bug encourages parents to visit their location so that we can flip through pages ourselves. Although, having more time to enjoy our munchkins before the summer ends is more tempting.
