We sheepishly admit to labelling everything our children own. (We may have even considered labelling the kids themselves…)

That’s why we’re a little bit obsessed with Mabel’s Labels new Backyardigans label ($43) and stationary packs ($39). Having super sticky labels with the faces of Uniqua, Pablo, Austin, Tasha and Tyrone on them gets our kiddo excited in the name of organization. Now we can happily cover everything in our preschooler’s possession (the under six set are notorious thieves) and no longer worry too much over which train/doll/bucket is whose.

Created by four Hamilton, Ontario moms, these customizable sets were born out of necessity and experience, so you know that quality matters. Tags placed in footwear long outlast the shoes’ ability to light up (or fit). We’ve labelled all kinds of items -- from tiny toy cars to items that see heavy wash cycles like clothing and favourite sippy cups -- and the labels have stayed put.

Too bad we can’t say the same for our three-year-old. (Where’d he go now?)
