Eating makes people happy (it’s science, don’t argue). And saving the world is good (yay!).
Which means we’re currently one big ball of endorphins, now that we proudly brown bag (well, box) with the Laptop Lunch Bento Box ($35).
Finally available in Canada, this portable food kit may have originally been designed for school lunches, but we find it just as fitting (and fun) at work. (We figure we can make it grown-up worthy just by keeping the crusts on our sandwiches.)
The containers do the organization for us, dividing snacks, dips and even cutlery into separate compartments that slip in and out of the main box with the ease of a kindergarten puzzle. Two have lids (for wet stuff), while the others remain open – so when we flip our lid for the first bite of the day, we see a tasty array of food rather than an unappetizing row of plastic. (It also makes sneaking snacks that much simpler.)
The best part? Our food isn’t left to roll aimlessly on our way to work (gym-shoe flavoured apples don’t make anyone happy).
