We’re grateful for hygienic strides being made in city-wide public restrooms. But the t hought of laying our little ones on communal changing tables still scares us enough to empty a pack of anti-bacterial wipes.

Since going green has gone mainstream, we’ve been looking for a changing solution that leaves the fewest poopy prints possible. So when we discovered Ah Goo Baby’s Plush Pad we knew we were doing good, both for the environment and their precious tushies.

This portable diaper changing station ($49.99), made from memory foam and a soft, water repellent fabric, keeps them comfy while we’re doing the diaper deed. And best of all, while it helps us avoid unsanitary conditions, it certainly gets points in the looks department. With styles like retro daisy, jungle (camouflage print) and rascal (leopard print), Karin Telegadis, Ah Goo Baby’s mom founder, helps fashion meet function.

Sure, our diapers might still be disposable. But at least we aren’t adding a forest of sani-wipes to the pile.
