We’re in heavy home décor detox mode since Baby came along. From banishing bisphenol A plastics and vinyl shower curtains, to buying all new wooden toys and organic cotton, bamboo and hemp anything. (We may need an intervention.) Bo Bebe

Calgary baby emporium bo bébé is on the same kick with their brand new baby: a luxury eco-store in the Westhills Towne Centre. Already established as a leader in selling planet-friendly baby products to Calgary area moms, bo bébé takes it one step further in their massive 6500 sq. ft. depot. Wind powered energy, reclaimed wood products, low VOC paints, and wood floors made from 90% post-consumer recycled goods are just a few of the well-thought out, innovative design details.

While checking out the new digs, we couldn’t help but pick up some of bo bébé lifestyle’s skincare line ($8.99-17.99), available in unscented, mandarin and lavender. We stocked up on an alternative to the cloth vs. disposable wars: g diapers ($36.99 for the starter kit, $26.99 for the refills). The pricey but practical Age Designs Hi-Lo Chair ($319.99) might have to come home with us on our next visit.

That’s if we ever make it home.
