We have a newbie in our neighbourhood. Rumour has it that they’re from Alberta, they’re into homemade goods and they smell like lemongrass and cinnamon. Rocky Mountain Soap CompanyNo, it’s not a hippie cowboy (although we’d love to know what that looks like). It’s Rocky Mountain Soap Company’s first Van city location. Envious of all our Calgarian friends who’ve used their handmade all-natural soaps for years, we had to check out their newly opened Granville site.

And what sweet discovery did we make? They now carry mother and baby friendly products. We score a bar of Baby Bear Soap ($4.99) so that Junior will smell more like lavender than spit-up. To moisturize his soft skin (and take care of that stubborn diaper rash) we nab a bottle of Baby Body Butter ($13.49). And for our pregger gal pal, we’re purchasing Belly Body Butter ($13.49) with Alberta beeswax to ease her itchy blossoming belly.

We also grabbed a bottle of their new Pink Lotus natural perfume ($28.99) for ourselves. (Baby’s not the only one who can benefit from our new neighbour.)
