According to our tiny tyke, all things talk. Be it his tooth brush or his cereal bowl, everything can be animated.
Needless to say, we were overjoyed at the sight of Diabolo Puppets ($45) in the window of Kingly. We couldn’t help but step inside the renowned Toronto children’s boutique at the sight of dozens of bulgy eyes looking straight at us while we strolled along Queen West. Our little guy giggled with glee as he slipped on some of these whimsical creatures and gave them life. Our favourites have to be Olive (complete with goofy overbite and squeaker mouth), Hale Bop (with his pointy head and exaggerated nose) and Gorg (got to love his pointy hat and dazed expression).
And while we’re there, we pick up some of Kingly’s collection of jewellery for mom. (Hey – earrings can talk too).
