Are we sending our tyke to hockey to learn sportsmanship? Or is it to teach us parents superhuman patience?
Running screaming from the hockey dressing room mayhem, we quickly purchase the Torspro Ice Armor ($129). Just introduced to Canadian mamas, we have to admit it has us doing the happy dance (even weighed down by the equipment bag). Basically, it's all the traditional pieces of hockey gear adhered onto a one-piece suit that zips up the front (think long johns that can withstand a slap shot). So instead of fumbling with separate shin pads, all we have to do is zip and go (meaning time to get a coffee before practice).
The best part? It's machine washable. Take that, stinky gear bag.
