How To Heat Up Winter Date Night

sponsored by aquafresh®canada (Nov.28.11)

We’re embracing the dropping temperatures outside this year by heating things up inside for our next date night. The best part (other than spending time together of course) is we don’t have to scramble for a babysitter (so can put that saved money towards a nicer bottle of wine…).

All we need is:

A really cosy blanket.

This plaid throw is actually fleece, so as cosy as they come. We’re thinking of getting it monogramed to really up the ante…

Essential Cozy Plaid Throw, $76. Available at Pottery Barn.

Some mood lighting.

We already know the Yule log channel by memory (and tune to it frequently) so we’ll add some real flickering light with a long-burning candle (that smells oh-so-amazing and wintery).

Slatkin & Co Winter candle, $22. Available at Bath & Body Works.

And something to get the ball rolling.

If you’ve never tried these, you should. Fun and quirky questions get us in the mood so we’re all set for a night of great conversation and re-connecting.

Table Topics Original, $40. Available at www.chapters.indigo.ca.

We suspect we’ll be making this a weekly thing…

Fresh Tip: Always make sure your breath is minty fresh and totally kissable by using Aquafresh® Extreme Clean toothpaste.
