Hi everyone, I’m back! After three months of official motherhood, I am starting to get my life back. And that includes sharing my motherhood adventures with you.
Now that I have made it to the “other side”, I can claim with certainty that it is amazing and rewarding as everyone says. But it was not without its hurdles getting here. While I used this blog as a venting outlet during my pregnancy I purposely stayed away from some of the physical issues. Why? Because part of me felt that if I said it was bad, it would only get worse, and if I said it wasn’t so bad, it would only get worse!
But now that it’s all in the past, I feel I can share my experience. So please let me indulge while I recap my journey to motherhood…

Immobile wrists due to Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Yes, it’s a common pregnancy symptom. Who knew?

Case of Gestational Diabetes diagnosed at 28 weeks. I mean really, what pregnant woman should be denied chocolate? It’s just morally wrong.

Beautiful baby boy, known as Teddy, weighing in at 7 lbs 5oz. And yes, it’s Teddy. Not Ted, not Edward, not Theodore. Just Teddy.

And it all adds up to the most incredible experience of a lifetime.
