Sweetmama To Be

Five years ago this coming June, I gave birth to my first baby. And I named her Sweetspot.ca. As with most infants she kept me up at night, drained my finances, and brought me more joy than I could have ever imagined.

So it's fitting that 5 years later I will give birth to my next child (although this one is likely to be much more painful to bring into this world). That's my way of telling all of you that I am pregnant. It has been a long road getting here, so I'll be sharing some of those experiences in upcoming postings, but I'm happy to report that I'm feeling good and my excitement is now starting to outweigh my anxiety.

So you'll be starting to hear more about "we" and less about "me". I have already been living like a real Sweetmama, from scouring the pregnancy books, to indulging in maternity massages, to finding sweet ways to stay in style while pregnant.

Next week I'll share with you the fabulous finds I've found in the world of maternity jeans (and I'll explain why I absolutely love wearing them, and may consider wearing them long past my due date!)....
