Apple Pie Trail
Only a month and a half since the school year began and I already feel that rushed, no quality time guilt setting in. So when the opportunity came up for a family weekend in Collingwood, Ontario, exploring the Apple Pie Trail, how could I say no?
When my husband had to work at the last minute, I called the next best thing -- my sister. Tante Arlene is my kids' favourite and a super foodie, so she was the ideal sub! While she hemmed and hawed at first (the word "vacation" takes on a different meaning with two kids under 5), she said yes as soon as I mentioned "apple pie tasting" and "Westin Trillium House."
An ideal trip for families in Southern Ontario, those visiting Toronto who might want to stretch their legs a bit, or anyone who loves a good slice of local apple pie. Check out my slideshow by simply clicking on the images below -- you'll feel like you came along with us.
