Next Stop: Thornbury
The next destination was a short, pretty bayside drive to Thornbury. A stop at the Thornbury Bakery Cafe (12 Bruce St., Thornbury, 519-599-3311) while Lucy napped in the car meant Nate had his pick of sweet treats. I loaded up on fresh sandwiches and wraps and picked up a Blue Mountain apple pie to take home. The picturesque marina beckoned a walk, but with a sleeping toddler, a moving vehicle is a must... onward to pick apples!
