Sometimes when we’re shopping for back to school gear, we feel we have to go back to school ourselves. What? An abacus isn’t used in a modern classroom? A handkerchief and twig combo isn’t a fashionable carry case? Ecole O MaxWith Ecole O Max, we won’t need another degree. In fact, all we’ll need is our index finger and the internet. Rather than dragging our progeny’s butts through the aisles of a school supplies store, we just have to log into www.ecoleomax.com. This one-stop shop has joined forces with every school board in Quebec, so all we have to do is click on the school lists section, find our child’s school and age group and presto! We have a full list of the merchandise needed.

The store is full of fun buys as well, like the Ecole O Max Desktop Placemat ($9.95, 10 patterns including military fatigue), which holds everything from wet naps to writing instruments.

Class dismissed.
