It’s never far from our mind, how most* guys get to leave the house with just keys, a wallet and maybe a communication device. (*A select few will splash out on a “murse.”) Then comes baby and the formerly freehanded find that baby stuff needs to go somewhere. Briefcases look silly at the park, man-bags don’t take well to spit-up, and nobody has that many pockets.
The MiPac Daddy DayPac ($149.99), made of weather-resistant Neoprene, is sporty, tough, and comes with a change pad, diaper envelope, and an insulated bottle holder. The myriad of colour-coded, zip and elastic pockets, the ergonomic strap and flat vinyl bottom mean that he can retain his hands-free status and most importantly, his cool. He might even find he likes being able to pack a chapstick (without debating the manliness of doing so).
There might be a papa out there who can carry off Petunia Pickle Bottom perfectly – but, well, in the mommy business we meet a lot of dads and we haven’t met one whose preference that would be. In fact, we think the tables should turn, and mamas should consider the rugged, smart-looking hands-free styling of the MiPac for themselves, too.
