“Once you learn to read, you will be forever free.”
We whole-heartedly believe this statement, which meant a much-needed shopping date at the new Indigo Books at CrossIron Mills.
We headed straight to the kid’s section – a dedicated store-within-a-store – to find books neatly organised according to age. We threw in a few educational (read: busy-making) toys, like Melissa and Doug magnetic toys (from $15), in the name of helping out our wee bookworms.
While we were adding to our home library, our tots were entertained by a train table, a giant teacup and a kid-friendly grocery store complete with shopping cart.
Shopping in the name of education is something we absolutely adore.
