Our mom was always one step ahead of the birthday game and our daughters seem to love Grandma’s party themes (like pizza making parties).
Since that gene seems to have skipped a generation, we enlisted the help of the Glitter Girls customizable party planning service. From invitations to loot bags, these ladies know how to party.
We chose from themed celebrations ($75, plus $15-$25/child) like Hannah Montana and Harry Potter. Activity choices ran the gamut from picture frame decorating, makeup and tattoo applications to ‘tween idol impersonators (take that Miley!)
And if cooking is at the top of the menu, the Glitter Girls can whip up cupcakes, pizza or even sushi. Too bad we can’t rent them out for our own dinner parties (with Grandma on the guest list).
