What’s sweeter than a marshmallow peep? Okay, not much - but Little Peeps comes close (and it won’t go straight to our hips).
This family-run, Riverside shop tempts us with a stunning confection of unique, fair-trade, environmentally friendly products. A beautiful keepsake Princess and the Pea by Malag ($110) sits atop eight mattress layers and comes with a book. Our buccaneers run straight to the pirate section for the best deals on sticker books, puzzles, magnet sets, markers, puppets and more (all under $20).
Little Peeps sweetens the pot with events like book readings, singing and drumming classes (check their Facebook fan page for upcoming events).
We’ll admit to liking our marshmallow peeps a little stale – but shops like Little Peeps just as they are: fresh, sweet and worth a nibble.
