We know how many kilometres it takes to get to work, but do we know the distance products travel to get to our favourite store?
This interesting thought crossed the minds of Lindsay Davis and Jackson Wightman, owners of Fait Ici. This boutique features locally made, eco-conscious products, with stickers throughout indicating how far each item has travelled. Just a few kilometres away are Quebec based Raplapla toys ($42) and Safia pour bébé moisturizer ($32), while a little further south are Clemetine Art’s all-natural paint ($19) and Green Toys’ recycling truck ($38).
Plus, Fait Ici’s terrace is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of freshly squeezed lemonade with agave nectar ($4).
We like shopping (and chilling) close to home.
