Investigating the nasties in our food and skin care, we wish we hadn’t skipped Chemistry so often.
But our sins have been forgiven with the opening of natural health store Red Mulberry in Leaside. The nutritionists and homeopaths on staff tutor us about the toxin-free, high-end skin care and health items.
We love the Green Beaver facial cleansers ($12), while Badger balms and sunscreen ($7 to $19) hold top rank for the wee ones. The whole family gets super sudsy with Dr. Bronner’s liquid soap containing only organic oils ($10 to $19). Our tastebuds were likewise tickled by Pacari’s raw chocolate ($3.50) and Smooze’s dairy-free ice cream made from coconut milk (10 for $8).
Looks like we got the crib notes.
