We had such high hopes. We imagined ourselves champions of home made baby food. That is, until we met with our über-complicated blender.
Now, we’ve turned to Eva Barsovska to be the champion for us. As the owner of Bébé Traiteur, she prepares and freezes a different, perfectly balanced meal for babies aged 9 to 24 months each day (seven meals staring at $19). Composed of seasonal, Canadian-grown ingredients, her meals are high in protein and free of salt, sugars, trans fats, and preservatives. And the best part? The meals are delivered to our door on a weekly, monthly, or bi-monthly basis (as if the blender could do that).
So while we may be dining on re-heated Kraft dinner for the third night in a row, rest assured that our little gourmets-in-training will be enjoying ratatouille, salmon and risotto.
