This summer, we’re running towards Loots. Not only is this our favourite destination for parties and event supplies, but it’s the first and only nut-free ice cream parlour in Toronto (insert happy dance here). This new concept for the mid-town family hotspot has us putting away our epi-pens and digging into all 18 original Chapman’s flavours and 25 nut-free candy toppings. We can’t wait to dig into scoops of Mint Chocolate Chip or Banana Fudge atop a sugar cone and smothered with whip cream and caramel.

And the thrill doesn’t end there. While our brood is busy getting their faces sticky with chocolate, the owners are cranking up the music to compliment our kid’s sugar rush.

Allergy or not, this is one ice cream joint worth its weight in carbs.
