Another birthday. Another year of choosing the right frosting for our Thomas the Tank Engine birthday cake. Is it any surprise we're not in the party frame of mind? 
Two Surrey moms realized what we all know: That having someone else stuff the Lil' Bratz piñata makes mummy just as excited as they are. The festivities start at the Sweets and Treats website, where we can choose a custom cake decorated like their favourite cartoon characters (starting at $40). But the cake is only the beginning of a complete party theme. If our toddler is ocean-obsessed, all we have to do is round up the Finding Nemo party pack ($69.99) and suddenly we have centrepieces, plates, cups and themed napkins fit for the Great Barrier Reef.
And just in case we feel the need to unleash our inner Martha Stewart, Sweets and Treats sells all the supplies we need to make a cake of our own. (That is, if we want to pull ourselves away from the piñata.)
