Our clubbing days are basically over. Lining up outside a bar waiting to hear the hottest DJ isn’t an option with children in tow. But that doesn’t mean our brood can’t shake what their mama gave them.
Heck, even mama can get in on the dancing action, thanks to The Little Sweetheart Ball at PLUSH Nightclub. On February 17,for the first time ever, the family disco group Dance Generationz will host the shindig to benefit Rethink Breast Cancer ($35 for adults and $5 for children).
Little princes and princesses can twirl and whirl the afternoon away, dine on delectable snacks from local restaurateurs and sip the finest Shirley Temples this side of the Canadian Shield. Us parents can go goo-goo over the latest fashions onstage – and then go gaga over the swag bags. A not-so-silent auction will top off the afternoons festivities. The best part? The dress code ranges from diapers to evening wear.
It brings a whole new meaning to “hey baby, wanna dance?”
