Everything in Its Place

(Jul.24.08)
Through clenched teeth we calmly request, -- OK, we yell -- “Clean your room.” We know it’s not good for our blood pressure (let alone our hearing) to repeat this numerous times a day.
Now that we’ve enlisted the help of Somebody Else’s Time, keeping junior’s room neat and tidy will be a cinch. We start with a free consultation for their organization service ($100/hour for the service of 2-3 people), leaving the mess and chaos as is. (Though we recommend removing the half-eaten hot dog from under the bed.)
Our little Mr. Clean will be able to give his two cents regarding the changes to his room (so will mom of course). Finally, a small army from Somebody Else’s Time will come into our home and turn this fantasy into a reality.
Once the kids’ rooms are spic and span, maybe it’s time to tackle the toy room or bring some order to our dreaded pantry. Families can also gear up to go green with some recycling organization. New moms can enlist the help of their concierge services for those days when leaving the house is just not an option.
We have all wished for another set of hands and more time. Now we can enjoy both on Somebody Else’s Time.
