While relaxing mealtimes out with the kids sometimes fall flat as a pancake, we’ve found a breakfast joint that’s sure to rise to the occasion.

De Dutch Pannekoek House has gone pro-les petites for le petit déjeuner. In between nibbles our little eaters can head to the restaurant’s new play area. This kid-corner might just give us a moment or two to enjoy some of their tasty traditional Dutch treats (from $12.50).

Not only an excellent spot for breakfast or lunch, we’re thinking this place makes for a perfect coffee/play date with our mommy friends.

A happy kid and a well-fed mom. That’s a recipe worth trying.
