While we love Vancouver, rainy days put a serious damper on our beach-loving ways.
The solution? Head indoors to the sandy oasis of 6 Pack Indoor Beach Centre. Available for kids’ birthdays ($150), beach volleyball ($15), and special events, the centre is a smorgsaboard of sandy activities, complete with barbecues, showers, and sand galore.
We love the Kidz Beach for Lil’ Diggers ($7), offering a sandy space for our kids to play. With their shovels and buckets in tow, our little ones run free in the city’s largest indoor sandbox (while we sit back and relax).
Even when it’s pouring rain outside, if we squint hard enough, we can almost imagine the sun is shining on us.
