If there’s one thing we always have on our wishlist, it’s more time. And while we respect the need for schedules, we haven’t quite figured out how to slot everything into our busy days.
But just when we were feeling ill about our to-do list, we met the Time Doctor. Feeling the crunch on her own time after going back to work, mom Jen Woods decided to take back the clock. She came up with a strategy to effectively plan out her week; ensuring time for family, work, chores and play. Then she turned her findings into a clever time management consulting service ($250) for busy families.
We filled out a detailed questionnaire and two weeks' worth of hourly logs documenting our every action as a family. Jen then examined our files and met with us to give us our diagnosis (time deficient, chronologically-challenged), prognosis (there was still hope for us), and prescription (lots of lists, proper planning and shortcuts). The entire process took about a month from start to finish and was just what the doctor ordered.
We’re already feeling more organized and less strapped thanks to Jen’s helpful and easy to implement tips and tricks.
Finally, a doctor’s visit we look forward to.
