We’ve spent hours researching the best ways to baby-proof our house. And while our closets are clogged with products that sounded great on the packaging, they didn’t live up to their promises. Unfortunately, it all adds up to some big baby-proofing bucks.
So we’ve turned to Safe and Sound Baby Proofing. This ingenious business was started by Janeen Webb and Eve Ackroyd, two Calgary mamas frustrated by the time and money they spent trying to find information and products that would help them successfully child-proof their homes.
Armed with expertise and product knowledge, we were thrilled to learn that Safe and Sound would come to our home for a room-by-room safety evaluation to identify potential hazards ($99). They took the time to learn about our families, and customized their recommendations to our specific needs. At the end of our consult, we were presented plenty of options for making our home safer (without adult-proofing us out of the kitchen cabinets).
Our favourite thing about this duo is that they take a common sense approach to child-proofing. They aren’t just trying to sell us more stuff. This is one business that actually wants to save us a few bucks.
