We attempted to do our part on Earth Day: We set our lights set on a timer, got our reusable bags at the ready and prepared ourselves for tepid showers and. Sure, every little bit helps but we wished we could have celebrated with a bigger bang.
Too bad, we didn’t know about La Loba sooner. This new store in Plaza St-Hubert is all about ecological alternatives for both mom and baby. Sure the shelves are lined with a plethora of cloth diapers from Apple Cheeks, g Diapersand a slew of other brands.
But environmentally friendly goes even further at this one-stop shop. OK, so maybe we’re not so sure about the Lunapads ($11-$22) but we can do the earth right in other ways. Like by picking up a pair of the super adorable moccasins ($30) by Les Petits Pieds Brodés made from recycled coats. Or how about colourful Mayukori blankets ($23) made from potato sacks?
Baby can be fashion forward in eco-friendly leg warmers ($10). La Loba may be small in size, but with this many choices in baby carriers, creams, nursing products and more, doing good just got that much easier.
And we’re proud to say that every day is now Earth Day.
