Commenting guidelines

Have something to say about one of our sweet stories? We want to hear it! Our comments can be used to share your own experiences, thoughts or helpful info - you just have to follow a few simple rules:

How to Keep It Sweet

• Stick to the point. If you are posting a comment on a story, your fellow readers will find it most helpful if you are commenting on that story!
• Plagiarism is so highschool. Do not copy material from other sources, except in brief quotes, with the source acknowledged.
• There's no need for claws. Vigorously debate the ideas, but avoid personal attacks. Do not make comments that are threatening, defamatory (for example: alleging criminal activity by an individual), obscene, profane, contain hate speech, or degrade others.
• We'll make sure we heard you the first time - so please do not repeat a comment that you have already posted.

If you see a comment that appears to violate these guidelines, please click on the "Report" link for that comment, and one of our moderators will review it. Sweetspot reserves the right to refuse or delete a comment for any reason whatsoever

Screen Names

Your Screen Name will appear with any comments you post. You are welcome to use your real name as your Screen Name, but we advise against using personal information (you shouldn't be telling the whole Internet your address or phone number).

Sweetspot reserves the right to reject any Screen Name that we consider to be offensive or potentially misleading - so use that creativity for something sweet!
