Sweetmamas aren’t just found in the downtown core or the hip hoods of Vancouver. We’re riding the urban sprawl and looking for some baby style in the ‘burbs – and we’ve found it.
Dandelion Kids, 
our Commercial Drive hot spot for all things fun and funky is opening a brand new store in Port Moody. Known for carrying top kiddie fashion lines from Trendy Tot, Fig Organic and Redfish Kids, this mini fashion emporium makes us moms giddy (feel free to let out an excited squeal!).
We love that Dandelion Kids carries an excellent selection of local designs (we can’t resist the little girly brooches by Track and Field) and this is the place to stock up on international toys from Vilac and Haba
This new shop calls for a celebration. May 9 marks the grand opening and with lots of giveaways and prizes, we can’t think of a better way to spend our Saturday (think of it as an early Mother’s Day treat for ourselves).
It’s a sign of the times: When moms are peddling Bugaboos and babies are wearing Vans in the heart of Port Moody, you know the hood’s heating up.
