What is it about the term hand-me-down that gives us a chill down our spine? Oh, yes: It’s the image of us wearing 70s velour zip-ups – during the mid-80s. PrelovedComing to our fashion faux-pas rescue is Canada’s own line of re-invented vintage wear, Preloved. Only this time, we’re happy to report (okay, maybe ecstatic) that they’ve just expanded to include me*me: Recycled, one-of-a-kind outfits for children. Now we can exchange those second-hand Fonz windbreakers with the inviting Jade Jacket ($129). We can bid farewell to that Michael Jackson-esque leather blazer and cozy up to the stunning Heart Vest ($59). And instead of asking our princess to sport those Spice Girl tear away pants, we can have her strut her stuff in the ever-cool Heiko Pants ($69).

What’s even better news is that the line’s timeless quality ensures that these pieces can be passed down between families and siblings. (Without looking like a walking museum.)
