Bathing Baked Goods
body productsCalgary

Cleopatra had the right idea. No, not with her dramatic love sagas (so exhausting), but that bath time is worth a little extra effort to attain true heights of beauty. (Men did die for this chick after all.)
We’re channeling the femme fatale with our own supply of Delish Bath and Body treats.
Taking the good-enough-to-eat approach to the extreme, these dessert-like, handcrafted body products are a bath-side staple (any other room and we’d risk taking a bite). Irresistible Bubble Cakes ($8) break apart so that the “icing” and “cupcake” mix under running water, creating the sweetest skin-softening bubble bath we’ve ever had. Fizzy Tub Truffles (5 for $3) may look like an after-dinner treat, but once the outer bath bomb dissolves the inner core of cocoa butter gets to work on our dry-climate skin. And the Rocket Pop shaped goat’s milk Soapsicles ($6) have prompted many is-that-a-dessert-in-your-soap-dish questions from dinner guests.
Calgary husband-and-wife team Doli and Chris Lopez operate out of home and still make each product (unscented or in your pick of sweet-toothed choices) the day you place your order. And they’ll hand-deliver ($7, free on orders $50+) or let you pick up yourself within a couple of days.
Our inner Pharaoh is satisfied.
