Olive You

Vancouver (Aug.01.07)

We love it when we discover new products that meet our sacred checklist: Local, natural, handmade, inexpensive and high quality. (No wonder shopping with us takes so long.) OLIVENaturally, we were thrilled when we came across Olive, a new B.C. skin care company with the brains to create a scrumptious baby line of products. Our favourite item? Olive Massage Bars ($4), because we cherish massaging our wee one, but have had bottles of oil kicked over one too many times (no, oil does not come out of linen). And although the essential oils are for babies, we’ve been known to rub a bit of the Orange Bliss on our own wrists, too (infants are never too young to learn how to share).

The Garden Blossom Facial Spray ($6) works double duty in our home: Both eliminating facial oil buildup after a hard day of mothering and working as an anti-bacterial spray on tiny, inquisitive hands.

We’re also big fans of the Puzzle Piece Soaps ($2), sized perfectly for wee fingers. Bonus: They actually fit together. Just like Olive and our lives.
