Trying on clothes after baby was born? Depressing. We no longer filled out our maternity outfits, but we weren’t quite squeezing into our pre-preggy clothes à la Heidi Klum either.
Where was Jennifer Waters’ Go Go Mama collection? This Toronto-based line of stylish and functional post-partum and kids’ wear turns the baby blues into baby belles. With her recent popularity at the One of a Kind Show, some styles are sold out until January. But thanks to her newly launched web store, there’s still plenty to get us through the holiday season.
The Persephone dress ($90) comes in vibrant hues and features a draped neckline that makes for “easy access” come nursing time. The Georgia dress ($110) has a swishy smock style that hides imperfections (like too much turkey dinner – er, baby weight). And we’ll be pre-ordering the Nathalie dress ($95) with its romantic shape for our Valentine’s date night.
The Go Go Kids line offers simple, street looks for boys and some of the sweetest girls’ attire this side of Paris. We have our hearts set on the Audrey dress ($50) (too bad our little girl is such a tomboy).
We’re hoping Go Go Mama launches post-partum swimwear in time for wading pool season.
