With baby on the way (or in our arms) we’re ashamed to admit that it’s not only our garden that seems to be growing weedy. We’d love to fit in a bit of me-time, but we can’t imagine taking two hours to spend in a chair for ourselves.
Gee Beauty gets that. Upon noticing the baby boom in her Rosedale salon, Natalie Gee created Beauty & the Baby. Essentially a catch-all name for tailoring treatments to the needs of customers, Beauty & the Baby offers ultra-short treatments, moveable beds, and organic products for tired and time-crunched mamas.
We’re freshening up our much-neglected digits with an Express Manicure ($24/20 minutes). We’re updating our hairy caterpillars with the 15-minute Gee Beauty Brow ($26). But pretty much anything on Gee’s menu can be customized to meet our new time constraints.
While we’re taking a break, we’re adding “retail” to “therapy” and stocking up on the fantastic Veda Pure Baby line by Dr. Natalie Geary. Priced at $40 each, bringing the organic diaper balm, shampoo and body wash, and moisturizing cream home, makes us feel less guilty about taking time for ourselves.
Now if only Gee Beauty could find a way to make our two-hour naps feel like a full night’s rest.
