We’re all for prenatal exercise especially when it expedites fitting into our pre-pregnancy jeans. But we somehow see the irony in having a bump-less instructor, without a swollen ankle in sight.
We were thrilled to find out that Melissa Scarpelli, one of our favourite certified personal trainers, would soon come rescue us from workout woes (her own belly bump included). This mom-to-be is moving and shaking with the best of us at U.N.I. Training’s first pre-natal class (3 classes/$40, 10/$140, 40/$480).
Beginning this month, Melissa will whip us into shape for our due date, focusing on
cardio, endurance, strength and core training. Plus, our newfound stretching, flexibility and relaxation techniques are certain to come in handy in the delivery ward.
