RULES & REGULATIONS
These Rules & Regulations (the "Rules") govern Sweetspot.ca’s Pink Payout (the "Contest") running on www.sweetspot.ca (the "Site"). No purchase is necessary to enter the Contest. The act of entering the Contest constitutes acceptance of the Rules and decision(s) of the Contest judge (the "Judge").
CONTEST
The Contest commences at 12:01 a.m. (EST) on Monday, November 1, 2010 and closes at 11:59 p.m. (EST) (the "Closing Time") on Sunday, December 12, 2010 (the "Contest Period").
HOW TO PLAY
During the Contest Period, visit the Site and follow the on-screen instructions to register for a chance to instantly win a prize. After submitting your registration, you will be directed to a page to play the game (the “Game Page”). If you land on three (3) matching symbols on the Game Page, you will receive a message stating “Congratulations, you just got lucky” (subject to verification and eligibility). If the message on the Game Page states “Sorry...”, or indicates any other non-winning message, or a blank screen appears, or you do not receive a message, you are not an instant prize winner.
Once you register for the Contest you can receive additional plays (up to a maximum of five (5) per day) (“Additional Daily Plays”)as follows:
- posting comments on the Site, posting Site comments to Facebook, liking articles from the Site on Facebook for up to three (3) additional plays;
- current subscribers to the Sweetspot.ca newsletter or if you subscribe to the Sweetspot.ca newsletter during the Contest Period will receive a free play each day;
- you may also receive an additional bonus play (“Bonus Play”) each day by playing the game once per day on an iPhone, iTouch or iPad;
All unused Additional Daily plays expire each and every day at 11:59 p.m. (EST) during the Contest Period.
In order to receive the Additional Daily Plays, all comments must adhere to Sweetspot.ca Inc.’s (“Sweetspot.ca”) commenting guidelines. For a copy of Sweetspot.ca’s commenting guidelines, please visit the Site. Comments that do not adhere to the commenting guidelines will be removed and no prize will be awarded.
ELIGIBILITY
This Contest is open to residents of Canada, who are 19 years of age or over as at the first day of the Contest Period, excluding employees, officers and directors of Sweetspot.ca and the sponsor(s) of the prize (the "Sponsors"), any companies affiliated with Sweetspot.ca or the Sponsors, representatives, dealers and agents of Sweetspot.ca or the Sponsors, contest suppliers and the Judge, any immediate family members (defined as parents, children, siblings and spouses, wherever they reside) and those with whom any of them are domiciled. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and local laws and regulations and is voidable where prohibited by law.

The potential for any contestant to win a Prize will depend on the number of entrants who play the game.
GENERAL
Contestants must correctly answer, unaided, the mathematical skill testing question contained on the Game Page. If you receive the message “We’re sorry but that’s not quite right. Please play again for another chance to win”, you have incorrectly answered the skill testing question and will not be eligible for that particular Prize.
In all matters relating to the promotion and awarding of a Prize, the Judge’s rulings are final and without appeal. All entries that are incomplete, illegible, damaged, irregular, have been submitted through illicit means, or do not conform to or satisfy the Rules, may be disqualified by Sweetspot.ca. Sweetspot.ca takes no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged, misdirected, late or destroyed entries, or for typographical or other production errors. Neither Sweetspot.ca nor the Sponsors is/are responsible for any errors or omissions in printing or advertising this Contest. All entries become property of Sweetspot.ca and will not be returned to the contestants.
Sweetspot.ca will use contestants’ personal information to administer the Contest, including contacting, announcing and promoting the Prize winners. As well, if contestants have opted in, BeyondtheRack.com may also use contestants’ personal information to keep contestants informed about other BeyondtheRack.com offers and promotions. Sweetspot.ca assumes no responsibility for failure of the internet or the Site itself during the Contest Period, for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or traffic congestion on the internet or any web-site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to a contestant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from accessing any material on the Site. Sweetspot.ca reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend the Contest should a virus, bug or other cause beyond its reasonable control corrupt the security or proper administration of the Contest. Any attempt to deliberately damage the Site or to undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest is a violation of the Rules. Should any such attempt be made, Sweetspot.ca reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including and not limited to, criminal prosecution.
Prizes must be accepted as awarded, are non-transferable and are not convertible into cash.
If the identity of a contestant is disputed, the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry will be deemed to be the contestant. The individual assigned to the email address for the domain associated with the submitted email address is considered the authorized account holder. A selected contestant may be required to provide proof that he or she is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the selected entry. All entries must be submitted from a valid email account that may be identified by reverse domain name search. The sole determinant of time for the purpose of receipt of a valid entry in this Contest will be subject to the Contest server machines.
Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a Prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties to reach a settlement.
